Well, it was really nice to have a summer where we weren't planning a wedding (as in 2000), and where Glenn wasn't working seven days a week (as in 2001)! So we really got to enjoy summer this year.

We went camping three times. In July, we went for a long weekend to the Okanagan (interior BC). In August we spent a weekend camping at Sasquatch Park, closer to Vancouver, with our friend Rob. Finally, at the end of August, we spent a weekend camping at Rolley Lake, just an hour from home, where these photos were taken.

        

We also escaped to SaltSpring island for a long weekend to celebrate our second wedding anniversary, saw the amazing Lucky Dubé in concert (reggae star from South Africa), had numerous dinners out with friends, and two big barbeques at home - one for our friends and one for MMK Consulting, Glenn's firm.

Ah, this really is how summer's meant to be...
