When we finally decided to move in together in 1999, Theresa had one simple request - to slap a coat of paint on the walls because she wanted our bedroom to be the same colour as the bedroom at her condo. Fine. But what condition are the walls in? How much patching would be required before painting? And no insulation in the walls males the house cold... The solution, gut half the main floor and start over! And we had only one month to get it done...
