Our place is located in the Commercial Drive neighbourhood (known simply as "The Drive" to those who live here) in East Vancouver, without a doubt the funkiest neighbourhood in all of Vancouver. Mix in the area's traditional Italian residents that made it "Little Italy" in the 1960's, a real mix of people from all across Latin America, a handful of Ethiopians, a few Chinese, the refuse-to-die hippies who still like a quiet toke in the park on Saturday afternoon, and new urbanites (like ourselves) trying to save some of the area's character, and you get one very diverse community.

No-one has managed to get all Commercial Drive businesses on-line, which is hardly surprising given that a lot of the older, established merchants on The Drive only take cash and haven't moved up to debit or credit cards yet! But still, the following links do provide information on some of the businesses, news, activities, and more as to what is going on in and around The Drive.
