Over the last six years, we have had a lot of fun learning that trying to fix up an old house makes the concept of spare time obsolete! 

Here is a shot of the 1925 place we decided to save from becoming bulldozer-bait.  Like many of the great old houses in Vancouver, it had been rather neglected, and in another few years would have been good for nothing other than ripping down.

However, lots of hard work from ourselves and our friends changed that fate, and gradually the old house is taking on a new lease of life, that should hopefully see it though to its 100th birthday!
